OLD AND NEW BEGINNINGS: THE RE-HOUSING OF AMERICA

Disease and crime-breeding tenements infest our great cities.  Their elimination means a huge and expensive program on which work has barely begun.  Encouraging are the John Adams houses in Chicago (left) which replaced many an evil fire-trap (right).

So, let me get this straight.  It is encouraging to see a bunch of cute white snots in rollerskates loitering in front of a ghetto in Chicago (left), because it means the elimination of the EVIL FIRE-TRAPS, complete with beleaguered black folk standing in front (right).  Is that correct?  Okay.  Just making sure I understand.
